Jonathan Davis of KoRn discusses his song ‘A.D.I.D.A.S.,’ admitting, “At 24, your mind is largely consumed by certain desires.”

KoRn’s lead vocalist, Jonathan Davis, delved into the band’s track ‘A.D.I.D.A.S.,’ shedding light on its youthful and “immature” essence.

Discussing the song from their 1997 album ‘Life Is Peachy’ in a recent interview with athletic wear brand Adidas, Davis unpacked the song’s acronymic title, “All Day I Dream About Sex.” He reminisced, “It began with a riff, and we shaped it. During those days, being 24 and in a rock band, such themes were dominant. It mirrored our mindset then.”

Davis further shared a surprising detail, revealing his eldest son, Nathan, was with him during the recording. “Interestingly, while performing, my son Nathan was right there with me. You can even catch his faint sounds in the song’s breakdown,” he said.

Recently, Adidas collaborated with KoRn, releasing a collection that saw two distinct sneaker models and seven apparel pieces. Reflecting on this partnership, Davis expressed his gratitude for the fans’ enduring support.

On the music front, KoRn unveiled plans for three significant UK performances in summer 2024, including a landmark show in London’s Gunnersbury Park. Ticket sales for these events commence on January 12. Furthermore, fans can anticipate new music from KoRn soon, as hinted by guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch. Although details remain scant, Head confirmed the band’s commitment to releasing their 15th album in the near future.
